The UK planning process can seem a little daunting with the Parish Coucils, County Councils, District Councils and the paperwork that is involved in the whole process.
We have years of experience dealing with local authorities and their requirements and will be able to let you know whether your project requires planning permission and, if it does, how to go about it.
Thre are many factors involved in the planning application which we can help and advise you with.
A planning application is only required in certain circumstances. If a planning application is required, you will need to send your application to the local planning authority who are generally responsible for making a decision on the proposal.
On receipt of your planning application form the local planning authority will publicise it so that local people are able to comment. This ‘consultancy period’ can take around 21 days.
The decision to approve the proposal can take up to eight weeks for minor applications
